Maine PowerOptions is an energy-purchasing consortium that serves as an aggregator for Maine’s public and non-profit organizations.
Our group-purchasing programs are designed to increase the buying power of eligible member organizations for the purchase of fuel oil, electricity supply, and other energy services, regardless of their size.
The result is that Maine’s municipalities, non-profit organizations, education institutions, health care organizations, water, sewer, and school districts can have greater control over their energy sources and costs.
Maine PowerOptions was founded in 1999 and is co-sponsored by the Maine Health and Higher Educational Facilities Authority and the Maine Municipal Bond Bank.
While the sun will be setting on community solar opportunities through the net energy billing program at the end of 2024, a new day is dawning for solar incentives that can help our members to establish their own solar projects on-site. We have been searching out and vetting some good prospects that can help our members to benefit from both these approaches. Learn about these opportunities and let us help you sort out your best options.
All MPO webinars are recorded for our members to watch on demand, so all live attendees consent to being recorded by registering.
